Cenote de Plata is a well-stocked jewelry
shop on 5th Avenue with a large variety
of silver items and plenty of amber, jade, turquoise
and other semi-precious stones in stock.
All items are priced based on weight and marked.
The owners Luis and Christian Padilla are there to attend
you personally (the both speak English
well), and they will leave you to look around at
your own pace. They get new objects every other
week directly from Taxco in central
Mexico, the silver center of the country.
El Cenote de Plata also has their own jeweler
on the premises who can make changes, repairs and special
designs.
